☀️🍽️ Solar oven day in Mr. Murphy’s class!
Even with last Thursday’s 36° chill, Mr. Murphy’s middle school science scholars were all in — and their solar ovens powered all the way up to 60–70 degrees! Cold weather couldn’t stop the experiments or the excitement as scholars put their designs to the test and saw real results in action.
A pretty cool way to warm up a November day — and spark some serious STEM curiosity. 🔥📚

Our third-grade scholars in Ms. Gutta’s class created stunning fall leaves set against a bold black-and-white birch tree landscape. Their creativity absolutely popped off the page!
We’re proud to share that several of these pieces were selected for display downtown in The Carriage House windows, right across from the Glover Theater.

Today, our Kingsborough young scholars spent the morning with some special four-legged visitors from Good Choice Dog Training! 🐶
Our scholars loved watching the dogs in action as they ran through agility courses and showed off their impressive training. It was a fun, hands-on way to see how practice and patience lead to great results!

This morning, the Gloversville Fire Department visited Park Terrace to teach our young scholars all about fire safety — from what to do in case of a fire to how to safely get out of the house. They even gave students a close-up look at their fire gear!

The 2025 Girls Varsity Swim Team capped off an outstanding season with an incredible showing at the Section 2 Swimming and Diving Championships last week, finishing 6th overall! Every qualifier gave it their all in prelims and advanced to finals the next day, showing true grit and determination.
