We were extremely excited to welcome Lauren Norris, Miss New York, to Boulevard this morning!
She spent time enjoying breakfast with our scholars before joining Ms. Marshall and Ms. Bruce’s classes for a fun and engaging Q&A and activities. Our scholars had the chance to ask great questions, learn more about her journey, and be inspired to chase their own goals.
We were also thrilled to have Lucy Esler, Miss Finger Lakes and GHS 10th grade scholar, join the visit and be part of the experience!

A great night filled with free books, crafts, and time together as families-engaging, fun, and all centered around reading. Story time was a highlight, with Superintendent Halloran, Principal Benjamin, Mr. DiNitto, and Boulevard scholar Piper bringing the stories to life.
This event is part of our Gloversville Elementary PTA’s Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) initiative, a month-long push to keep reading a part of the everyday routine.
