School tax payments can no longer be made in person at the Gloversville Enlarged School District business office. Payments must be mailed to the district or paid online.
The district offers the following two options for paying school taxes:
Checks should be made payable to the Gloversville Enlarged School District (GESD). Mail check or money order, along with the appropriate bill stub to:

A pre-addressed return envelope will be included in school tax bills for convenience.

School property tax rates are set in August for the upcoming school year. Tax rates are based on the total tax levy in the voter-approved school budget, the state-determined equalization rates, and assessment rolls for each town. View your school tax bill online
School tax bills will be mailed Aug. 31. For additional information, please contact the Business Office at (518) 775-5795 ext 9714, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
School property taxes are due Oct. 31 each year. School taxes will be collected without penalty from Sept. 1 to Oct. 2. A 2 percent penalty will be added to payments received from Oct. 3-31. No payments are accepted after Oct. 31. Any amounts unpaid at that time will be turned over to the appropriate county.
