We wrapped up Homecoming weekend with the annual Juniors vs. Seniors Powderpuff Game — and it did not disappoint! The girls battled it out on the field while the boys brought the cheer squad energy on the sidelines.
After a hard-fought game, the Seniors pulled off a 22–20 win! 🔥
A great way to close out an awesome week at GHS! ❤️🖤

🐰📚 Park Terrace First Grade wrapped up their very first CKLA knowledge unit — The Moral of the Story: Fables and Tales! To celebrate, our scholars rotated through fun stations inspired by the classic stories they’ve been reading. From racing with golden eggs to sneaking past Mr. McGregor’s garden, it was the perfect way to bring these timeless tales to life. ✨

Mrs. Miller’s Pre-K class had a blast at their very own Harvest Market this week! Our young scholars “shopped” for pies, apples, pumpkins, gourds, corn, and more, while also applying real-world math by taking turns as the cashier and paying with cash and coins. 🎃🍂🍁❤️ It was the perfect mix of fall fun and hands-on learning!

Lady Dragons Play for Pink 💕🐉
💗🐉 Last night, our Lady Dragons and the community came together for the Pink Out Game in support of breast cancer awareness. To our survivors and honorees — you are fighters, and we hope you felt the love and recognition you deserve.
This isn’t a one-time event. The Pink Out will become an annual tradition, growing each year to honor more survivors, bring more people together, and raise even more support. 🎀

This week our second graders completed a unit on Tall Tales. They celebrated by having a Paul Bunyan Flapjack Breakfast. Yum! Thank you to our second graders teacher team and the cafeteria staff for collaborating to make this special event happen.
During the month of September, the scholars at Park Terrace Elementary School have been learning about being RESPECTFUL! This week stand out scholars from each class were honored as our Scholars of the Month. Way to go! During October the focus will be on RESPONSIBILITY. Keep up the good work Park Terrace!
