GHS students took part in the statewide Seen Enough Tobacco Day today to underscore the alarming fact that the average age of a new smoker in NYS is just 13 years old. These students shared other facts such as more than 22% of high school-age youth in NYS vape/use e-cigarettes.

Board Member Vincent Salvione helped to secure the donation of 50 desks from the School District to Church of the Holy Spirit for their Faith Formation program. Mrs. VanNostrand’s 3rd grade class at Boulevard recently use their problem solving skills to “Save Fred”. Students were tasked with using only paperclips to put the life preserver on their worm Fred. After lots of brainstorming, they did it!
