Second grade classes at Kingsborough participated in Olympic Games for a CKLA Celebration. Second grade has been learning about Ancient Greek Civilizations and we learned a contribution we received was the Olympics Games honoring Zeus!

Trunk or Treat is today!

The GHS Auto Tech class visited Buanno's Custom Body Shop. Mr. Buanno took time out of his day to give a tour of his facility. Overall the field trip was once again a huge success, and the Scholars are all looking forward to next month's field trip!


The scholars in Mrs. VanNostrand’s class have been enjoying their CKLA unit on Animal Classifications. Scholars learned about birds and their wingspan. They worked with partners to find their own wingspans.






National Junior Honor Society is collecting socks to donate to the homeless shelter and the Cops n' Kicks for Kids program. New socks will be accepted at the GMS main office, the GMS health office, and the GMS library until Nov 3rd.

The Glove City Youth Coalition would like to invite you to help celebrate Red Ribbon Week by wearing red on Monday, October 30th. This year’s theme is “Be Kind To Your Mind, Live Drug Free”.

Our Scholars in the Outdoor Club had a great time at Kane Mountain and we are looking forward to more hikes this school year!
