
Congratulations to Sarah Dworman and Amelia Baldwin for representing Scitamard Drama Club’s production of “Xanadu” at the HS Musical Theatre Awards at Proctors on May 13. They have been stars in GHS’s drama program since 6th grade, and are excited for their future successes.

Community GESD Clothing Give Back!


CarbonTek USA came and presented to our automotive and science scholars last Friday. CarbonTek's service removes harmful carbon build-up from within an engine. This presentation exposed our students to cutting-edge green technology, and science, as well as a career pathway.



Check out our 4th-grade scholars in Ms. Thomas's class! They examined plate tectonics and the structure of the earth by dissecting hard-boiled eggs.

The Gloversville Dugout Club is hosting a Stand Up To Cancer Night tonight vs Broadalbin-Perth at 7:00 pm.
Cards will be sold for $5 prior to the start of tonight’s game.
All money that is raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society from our Hits4Hope Program.


Sixth grade, team two, scholars participated in a weekly basketball-themed review game in math, science, social studies, and ELA. Congratulations to all of the teams for having fun while reviewing curriculum content!





Give Hope this Spring!


GHS scholars were rewarded for attending school regularly with a carnival. The building leadership team hosted this event with special help from teachers Mr. Terplak and Mr. Risch who built several carnival games for our scholars to enjoy!

Sixth-grade students participated in an after-school Minecraft challenge with Mrs. Flynn and Mr. Thomarie, from HFM BOCES. Scholars were asked to build a world recreating life in Ancient Greece.
