
GMS Drama Club members learned about theater superstitions at this month’s meeting!




One of many programs and initiatives that GESD has to help our scholars and their families is a homecare bag program which is overseen by our Community Outreach Coordinator, Lawshan Hawkins. Thank you to Ginger Cato and Bonnie Peck from Glove City Coalition for donating items!

5th-grade scholars did Boulevard proud this weekend at the All County Music Fest!





Congratulations to our GHS All County Jazz Band participants last weekend (2/2-2/3). The annual festival was held at GMS and featured the jazz band, jr/ high band, sr. high choir and elementary choir.


Today in Miss Swank’s 4th grade class we were learning about sound waves in science and created string telephones!

The 8th-grader scholars in Mr. Ferries science class used Oreo cookies to map out the phases of the moon.







Second graders at Kingsborough enjoyed a presentation on weather with meteorologist Ryan Finn, as a celebration of ending our CKLA unit, Cycles in Nature!

Mrs. Naselli’s class has been learning about the Cycles in Nature. Today they learned about three BIG words in the Water Cycle, evaporation, condensation and precipitation. Each scholar created a diagram to help remember the cycle.
