Our Cleaning Crew, started by Vinnie Salvione, is made up of our hardworking GMS scholars from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade who not only keep up strong academics to participate but also dedicate their flex periods to helping around the school. 🧹✨

This past Friday, Gloversville Middle School held its annual Wellness Day! Scholars spent the day focusing on their social, emotional, and physical well-being through movement, mindfulness, art, games, and creative activities. From a proper tea party to therapeutic art and bracelet making, the building was filled with positive energy, connection, and care for the mind, body, and heart.

Last week, Gloversville Middle School held its most recent Parent Committee meeting at GMS. Committee members meet once a month with Middle School administration to collaborate and create action steps that help our scholars thrive and succeed.
The purpose of the Parent Committee is to:
• Strengthen school and family partnerships
• Support scholar success academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Serve as advocates and collaborators for GMS

During November and December, club members volunteered with two local food pantries, and on December 6 they led a Salvation Army Kettle Drive, raising nearly $240 to support those in need.
The Builders Club is dedicated to helping others through acts of community service, and their efforts are a powerful reminder of the impact our scholars can make when they come together to serve. We’re proud of their compassion, leadership, and commitment to our Gloversville community. 👏
