On Saturday, newly appointed Gloversville Middle School Principal, Mr. Heiser, traveled to Canajoharie to support his newly arriving 6th grade scholars as the Little Huskies took the field for their Saturday night matchup. 🏈🐾

As we kick off a new season of Gloversville athletics, we want to remind our community of the guidelines in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
🏫 Students in 8th grade and below must be accompanied by an adult and remain under adult supervision at all times.
🚲 No bikes, scooters, or backpacks are permitted inside the event.
🎒 All bags are subject to search upon entry.

🏌️♂️ FREE Golf Clinic for GESD Scholars – Grades 3–8 🏌️♀️
GESD is excited to once again offer a free Introduction to Golf Clinic for students in grades 3 through 8, happening August 19–21 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hales Mills Golf Club. This is a great chance for students to learn the basics of golf in a fun and supportive environment.
Scholars must bring their own golf equipment and wear sneakers or golf shoes to participate.
Those interested can email Coach Ficili or reach out to the Athletics Office to sign up. It’s completely free to attend!

After 5 years of dedication to the Gloversville Enlarged School District, Mr. Osama Mustafa, our Director of Communications and Public Relations, is taking the next step in his career. Mr. Mustafa has truly redefined what it means for a school district to have a communications department, telling the Gloversville story with passion, creativity, and heart. We are incredibly grateful for all he has done and wish him the very best in his next chapter!
As we say goodbye, we are also excited to welcome Mr. Andrew Dinitto as our new Director of Communications and Public Relations! Mr. Dinitto brings valuable experience in marketing and a fresh perspective that will help us continue to grow and strengthen how we share our district’s stories.

✅ For all children 18 & under (and qualifying individuals 19+ with disabilities)
✅ For students not enrolled in a summer program that includes meals
✅ Parent/guardian pickup required
📅 Program Dates: July 7 – August 4
📍 Pick-Up Locations & Times (Mondays, 11:30am–12:45pm):
