🎨🐉 Hybrid Creatures: A Digital Literacy Exploration 🐉🎨
Inspired by The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, the Digital Media Arts 7 scholars have unlocked their imaginations by blending digital media arts with literary creativity, using Photoshop to create hybrid creatures. 🦄🐾
💻 With the help of an AI-powered chatbot, scholars explored the connection between fantastical language and visual storytelling by writing an original limerick about their creatures; showcasing their use of digital literacy. This fusion of art and technology is a vital skill for future careers in animation, game design, and digital marketing. 🚀🎨📚

🌟🎶 Save the date! 📅 The Gloversville Class of 2026 invites you to the 4th annual "Someone Special Dance" on March 29th, from 1-3 PM at Gloversville Middle School. Join us for a day filled with music, dancing, and fun! Tickets are $20 a pair, with each additional child at $5. 🕺💃
👗👔 Semi-formal attire is required. Be sure to get your tickets in advance at your school’s main office starting March 5th, as no tickets will be sold at the door. Remember, cash only!

🌟 We're so proud of our incredible youth delegates who attended the CADCA Forum in Washington D.C. from February 2-6! 🌟
Attached is a photo of the enthusiastic group who represented us last week. They had an amazing opportunity to engage with key staffers of Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, discussing important issues around substance use and addiction prevention.
Our delegates also attended various workshops and presentations, gaining valuable insights into addiction science and the best prevention practices. It was an empowering and educational experience that they are eager to bring back to our community.

This past Saturday, February 1st, our talented band and choir scholars showcased their skills at Broadalbin-Perth High School. Representing grades 5-12, these young musicians joined peers from across Fulton County for a day filled with beautiful melodies and impressive performances.

Mr. Halloran passionately supports our rural district's needs in facing the challenges of this transition.
