This program is all about building bridges and sharing wisdom. By connecting our experienced leaders with the next generation, we’re creating a supportive environment where every scholar can learn new strategies for success and grow with confidence.

The Gloversville Unified Basketball team tipped off their season with a dominant 45–24 win on the road at Shalmont!
From the opening tip, our scholars set the tone-moving the ball, picking each other up, and competing together every step of the way. A true team win and a great way to start the season. 🏀
Next up: home game next week at 4:30 vs. Amsterdam-make sure to come out and support! 💪

Today, our GHS Life Skills class proudly received their check from the Stewart's Shops Holiday Match Program-a moment that reflects the power of community and generosity.
Thanks to this program, funds raised right here in our community are reinvested into opportunities that directly impact our scholars. For our Life Skills scholars, that means continued growth, hands-on experiences, and meaningful learning that prepares them for life beyond the classroom.

🎓 Future Focused: Career Day at GHS!
Day one of Career Day brought some great insights to our Gloversville High School scholars!
We were happy to host John Ramoska, Associate Dean of Enrollment at SUNY FMCC, for an informative presentation and Q&A session. He walked our scholars through the "Pathway to Success" that FMCC provides, helping them explore their options when the time comes to decide on a career path. It was a great opportunity for our scholars to ask questions and get a head start on their future planning.
A huge thank you to Mr. Ramoska for investing time in our scholars and helping them navigate their career pathways.
Making Prom Magic Happen for Our Scholars! ✨
Prom is a milestone moment, and we want every Gloversville scholar to feel like a million bucks. To ensure our scholars can focus on making memories rather than budgets, Jen Hazzard is hosting a Free Styling Event on the day of Prom!
From professional hair and makeup to fresh cuts and last-minute tailoring, we are here to help our scholars look and feel their absolute best.
How to Get Involved:
👗 Scholars: Scan the QR code on the flyer or use the link in our bio to reserve your free styling session.
🎁 Community Support: We are seeking donations of formal wear (dresses, suits, shirts), styling tools, and cosmetics.

This program is a vital thread in our community connectivity, weaving together scholars from every corner of the district. By bringing the high school spirit into our elementary hallways, we’re building a unified GESD family where every school feels like home.
