Today, Principal DiPasquale traded his office for the kitchen to give our hardworking cafeteria staff a well-deserved break! The kitchen crew won the SMILE Club raffle, earning a 30-minute break while a special guest staff member stepped in to fill their shoes. As you can see from the photos, the staff found the perfect spot to kick back and relax! 📸🤫
Thank you to our incredible cafeteria staff for all you do every single day, and shoutout to Mr. DiPasquale for being such a great fill-in and keeping the line of hungry scholars moving! 🍽️❤️

Our Boulevard 5th-grade scholars had an amazing, eye-opening experience today visiting the FMCC campus!
Thorough the morning, our scholars dove into Career, College, and Course Exposure discussions. To make the day run smoothly, our classes were assigned to wonderful FMCC student ambassadors who led the campus tours and kept everyone right on schedule.
It is never too early to start thinking big, and we love seeing our scholars explore the incredible pathways and opportunities waiting for them in the future! 🌟
When Ms. Stryjek’s 5th Grade Dragons ELA WIN Group wanted to dive into the second book of The Hunger Games series, they ran into a bit of a challenge finding a full class set.
Luckily, the Gloversville Public Library stepped in and tracked down enough copies for all 19 scholars! Thanks to their help, the class successfully finished the book and they are already looking forward to reading the third book, Mockingjay, over the summer just for fun.
Thank you, Gloversville Public Library, for supporting our ELA WIN class and keeping our scholars excited about reading! 📖❤️🐉

Our Boulevard Garden Club had an amazing afternoon yesterday with Ms. Pando and Ms. Forsythe!
Special guest and garden enthusiast Jim Costanzo joined our scholars to share his expert gardening knowledge and point out which bugs to watch out for. He also generously donated a variety of plants, which our scholars immediately planted right into the Boulevard garden beds! 🌿🌸
Hands-on learning like this helps our scholars connect with nature and take pride in beautifying their school campus. The future is looking bright (and green) for our Boulevard scholars. ❤️🤍
☀️🗓️ THE ABC COUNTDOWN IS ON. Boulevard 4th grade is officially locking in for the final stretch of the school year, celebrating each remaining day with a different letter of the alphabet.
Today was all about Day C-Crazy Hair Day. 💇♀️
Our scholars and teachers completely understood the assignment, bringing plenty of creativity and big energy into the classrooms today. Catch a few of the looks from around the halls. 📸🎬

Throughout the novel study, scholars explored themes of friendship, kindness, and helping others while building their reading comprehension and engaging in thoughtful class discussions along the way. Ending the unit with the movie and themed snacks was a fun way to celebrate all of their hard work and enjoy a classic story together! 🕸️✨
Great job to these scholars for bringing the story to life in their own way-and for proving once again that reading isn’t just something we do, it’s something we get to enjoy every day. ❤️🤍

Every project reflected the hard work, persistence, and originality our scholars bring into the classroom every day.
Boulevard educators also had the tough job of serving as judges for the evening-carefully making their way through the impressive projects while seeing firsthand just how much passion and effort our scholars poured into their work.
One of the biggest highlights of the night came during Ms. Hazzard’s live python presentation, where scholars got an up-close look at two incredible snakes while learning more about these fascinating animals. Safe to say there were plenty of reactions all around! 🐍
The evening was a perfect reminder that learning looks different for every scholar-sometimes it’s through data and discovery, and sometimes it’s through creativity and expression.

Yesterday, Boulevard 3rd grade scholars welcomed Adam Henne from the New York State Maple Producers Association for an interactive presentation all about the history of maple production and the process of turning sap into syrup. From learning where maple comes from to exploring one of New York’s longest-standing traditions, our scholars tapped into a lesson that was both educational and fun-and even got to try some real maple syrup along the way! 🍁🥞
👒 Hair-Raising Fun with Gloversville Elementary! 🤪
From glittery braids to gravity-defying hats, things got a little wild at our elementary buildings today! It was awesome to see our scholars at all three schools showing off their "rebel" creativity and school spirit.
