Gloversville Middle School would like to give a shout out to our local Cravings Bakery here in Gloversville. Cravings generously dropped off four dozen specialty cupcakes in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. We appreciate you and the sweets were amazing.!

Congratulations to Gloversville Middle School Principal Andrew Jablonski.
Andrew received The School Library System Principal of the Year award at the annual HFM BOCES School Library System Celebration Luncheon on April 27, 2023.
Bobbie Lindsay, GMS Library Media Specialist, nominated Andrew for his continued leadership and support of the library program at Gloversville Middle School.


A huge shout out to our scholars in the 5th-grade Kindness Club who made 330 Individual craft kits to donate to the Ronald Mcdonald House.

Congratulations to the Sixth Grade Team Two scholars who earned a 90 or higher in all five core classes for the Third Quarter!


Congratulations to the Sixth Grade Team Two scholars who earned an 80 or higher in all core classes for the Third Quarter. They will be treated to a pizza party!


A small group from the GMS Builders Club participated this past Saturday (Earth Day) with the Gloversville City cleanup event. Thank you for helping make our community a brighter place!


The City of Gloversville Police Department will be participating in the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee 2023 “No Empty Chair” campaign this week.


The Gloversville Dugout Club is hosting a Stand Up To Cancer Night tonight vs Broadalbin-Perth at 7:00 pm.
Cards will be sold for $5 prior to the start of tonight’s game.
All money that is raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society from our Hits4Hope Program.


Sixth grade, team two, scholars participated in a weekly basketball-themed review game in math, science, social studies, and ELA. Congratulations to all of the teams for having fun while reviewing curriculum content!

Mr. Douglas and his 6th grade science scholars made boats out of aluminum foil. They tested the buoyancy by adding pennies. Scholars analyzed the results by utilizing statistics.






Give Hope this Spring!


Ms. Mowrey's 7th grade scholars used nutrient agar to grow bacteria from samples around the school before break. The growth they were able to observe after spring break is pretty impressive!
