Kingsborough's second grader scholars have a new library incentive this year! The scholar that reads their library book and returns it and tells Mrs. Ferrante what their book was about, can get another book before their library day. The second grade scholar that reads the most books in the month can earn the ROCKING READER award along with a book! Their picture will go on the Rocking Reader bulletin board for all to see. Happy reading and I can't wait to hear about all your wonderful reading adventures! Congratulations to Ellieana, our first recipient. Her love of reading inspired this award!

This is a reminder that December 6th will be a half day for our elementary scholars!

Second grade classes at Kingsborough participated in Olympic Games for a CKLA Celebration. Second grade has been learning about Ancient Greek Civilizations and we learned a contribution we received was the Olympics Games honoring Zeus!
