The scholars at Kingsborough Elementary School celebrated Black History Month by participating in a school-wide quilt project that showcased important African-Americans throughout our history in the United States. Scholars listened to stories about those influential people, were able to learn about otherβs experiences, and truly connect with the past. It was a wonderful experience for everyone!

Congratulations to Kingsborough's November Scholar Spotlight winners for SAFETY ! We are very proud of you!
On December 6th the Glove City Youth Coalition is hosting a "Family Game Night" in the GMS Cafeteria from 6-8 pm. It is open to all Gloversville Scholar Families.
GESD families are encouraged to apply to have your children sponsored by a donor for the holiday. If accepted, families will be asked to provide a wish list for each child within their household this holiday season.
