We have been learning about Thanksgiving in Mrs. Miller's class. We learned about Pilgrims and Native Americans through stories, songs, and we even dressed in the attire. We had a great Thanksgiving Feast as Pilgrims and Native Americans. Although turkey was served, the children loved peanut butter instead. One student pointed out that the pilgrims ate nuts at their feast also.

In Mrs. Miller's Pre-K we learned about Veteran's. We learned about the importance of their service, and how important it is to say the Pledge of Allegiance every day. We all learned how to say the pledge!

Mr. Cliff Miller came to visit Mrs.Miller's and Ms. Roberts' Pre-K classes to talk about Veteran's Day. Mr. Miller was a Tank Commander in the US Army serving during two wars. Thank you Mr. Miller for your service!
