The Gloversville Enlarged School District wants to thank the First Choice Financial Federal Credit Union for the generous donation of sneakers and backpacks.
Students in the Gloversville Elementary schools have been participating all month in the Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities program (Read for RMHC). RMHC-CR is an organization dedicated to supporting children and families, especially those struggling with childhood illnesses and injuries. They work to keep families together and close to the care that they need.
Students were invited to join the Read for RMHC program, giving them the opportunity to volunteer their time to read and earn donations to support children and families in need in our community. Although we are in our last week it is not too late to donate! Please consider donating this week to help us reach our goals. Below are links to each elementary school’s donation page:

Mrs. Barboza’s students participated in Agricultural Literacy Week at Park Terrace with the read aloud, Farmer Will Allen and the Growing Table. They also observed a Worm Taxi and discussed the role of worms in composting.

Governor Hochul has announced that effective Wednesday March 2nd the mask mandate currently in place will be lifted for all NY State schools. This is due to the declining cases of Covid19 and the new CDC recommendations. Those who wish to continue wearing masks are free to do so.
Park Terrace students were asked to share random acts of kindness by writing them on hearts to be displayed at school. On Wednesday, all students celebrated their kind acts with sledding, hot chocolate and cookies.
