Attention Parents of Entering 6th Grade Scholars:
It is required that all scholars entering 6th grade who are 11 years of age or older, must receive an immunization containing tetanus toxoids, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis(Tdap). We must receive proof of these immunizations in order for your child to start at GMS in September.
Please contact your healthcare provider now so that you can make arrangements to comply with this law.
****Please note that these are new requirements for 6th grade and were not required for 5th grade.**** (If your child has not received a shot recently, he/she is probably not up to date for 6 th grade.) Please be aware that our school district is required by law to exclude from school any students who are not up to date on their immunizations.
