We are using the," Journey's Reading Program," to promote skills in reading.  We are also using a new program to address their writing needs.

Students are expected to come to class prepared.  This includes bringing a pencil, pen, eraser, and notebook to class each day.  Students are responsible for having their homework completed on time, and to record their assignments in their agenda provided by the school at the beginning of the school year. 

 Journey's provides a complete background in word attack skills, or phonics, and addresses vocabulary, as well as comprehension of the material students read.
