Go Home Early Drill set for Tuesday, Nov. 25
All GESD schools will be dismissed 15 minutes early Tuesday, Nov. 25 as part of the annually required Go Home Early Drill. This drill is required each year by the state Department of Education. Schools will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Friday, Nov. 28 for Thanksgiving Break. Schools will reopen Monday, Dec. 1.

Firefighters talk fire safety with Meco students
Thank you to the members of the Meco Volunteer Fire Company who visited the Meco Elementary School recently. The firefighters discussed fire safety and prevention with the students and gave students an up-close look at a fire truck.
