Class Rules

-Absolutely no food or drinks are allowed in a science class or laboratory at GHS.   Any items in possession  must be kept in backpack for the duration of class.  Gum will be allowed on trial basis.

- It is important that the classroom and laboratory environment is conducive to learning.  All property in  the classroom must be handled carefully and must be well maintained.  This means

-         Before leaving class, please be sure your desk is in its proper location and your chair is pushed under your desk.   -         Be sure not to leave trash or other belongings in desk trays.  All desks must be empty except for science textbook when leaving classroom.

-         Return all borrowed classroom items to their original location.

 -         No writing on or destroying classroom property.

You are not allowed to leave the classroom during the period unless

-         You have a valid written pass with the proper dismissal time

-         You have to use the bathroom facilities.

No disrupting the learning environment of the class.

Be respectful to Mrs. Bobowski and your classmates.

  You will not be allowed to go to your locker during the class for any materials you forgot to bring to class,                     homework included.

  No talking while the teacher is talking or demonstrating to the class.  Raise your hand to ask questions.

  No leaving seats without permission (except to use pencil sharpener or get tissue).  No leaving seats until  dismissal bell rings AND Mrs. Bobowski has dismissed you.

  If you are not working during any class or lab time given to you to work on assignments or lab, and you are  preventing other students from working, you will be assigned after school teacher detention and  required to work on assignment or lab then.

        CHEATING: In cases of cheating (in and out of class), BOTH the supplier and receiver of answers or homework material will receive zeros and parents/guardians will be contacted.  Guidance counselors and the school  administration may also be involved.
