The goal of this course is that the student achieve a specific level of Spanish proficiency according to Checkpoint B on the NYS Syllabus for second language.

Students will take the NYS Comprehensive Regents Examination at the end of this course.  To receive proper credit, a student must pass the final exam as well as the course.

Native or heritage speakers of Spanish may choose to challenge the Regents in January or June.  However, specific requirements apply when challenging a Regents.  Please see me or your guidance counselor for more information.
