The Ocean

The waves sweep in and out making a new pattern in the sand at every transition.  The waves flow so gracefully complementing each other's movement, almost like a perfectly planned ballet.  And now the moon reflects on the brilliant blue waters.  At times the moon reflects perfectly, almost as if you were looking into a mirror.  To others the water's movement creates a mind provoking abstract depiction of the moon, resembling a work of Van Gough.  While the moon's picture lies in the deep blue waters;  the water's movement clash out for company.  Everyone else is asleep while the ocean blue is alive as ever.  Though the water calls out for company it still erases every trace of life.  The water washes away any prints in the sand and hides all the ocean creatures in its deep depths.  Soon the sun will shine and it will be day.  Visitors will come flocking in each direction claiming a little piece of beach for themselves.  Each make their own mark, not knowing the sand will be washed clean.  Then the sun starts to set; the beach goers begin to leave.  While night just starts to set in, the ocean becomes truely alive.
