Reglas/Rules
1. Grant your classmates and teacher the respect you expect for yourself.
2. Take responsibility for your own learning and success.
3. Come prepared to work with your book, notebook, packets, a pen or pencil and your homework completed. Being unprepared will result in a grade of zero.
4. The homework policy is always in effect.
5. Be on time to class. Tardiness will result in a detention.
6. Misbehavior will not be tolerated. Students who take away the opportunity for others to learn will be assigned a detention and/or sent to the Main Office or Dean.
7. Students are expected to remain in their seats until the bell rings.
8. After an absence work must be made up in a week’s time. Work not made up will result in a zero.
9. The use of a dictionary, digital translator, on-line dictionary, native or heritage speaker, or on-line translation site for phrases, sentences, paragraphs or entire essays will be considered plagiarism and not the student's work. The student will receive a ZERO for the work and parents will be contacted. This is the policy of GHS. Students who write in English first rather than Spanish first lose the "flavor" of Spanish. Your essay will sound like English in Spanish.
