What is the Role of Primary Advocate:

1. I. E. P. coordination and development

2. Develops pre-conference documents of tentative I. E. P. 's and recommendations

3. Ensures that all services are being provided to each student

4. Shares/ explains/ disseminates information from the I. E. P.

5. Gathers information from other service providers

6. Mails progress reports home

7. Send copies of end of year progress reports to CSE office

8. Serves as a liaison between the district, service providers, parents, administrators, and special ed. office
