High school
students take time out from test prep to show they care
Students
from Ms. Sira's and Mrs. Schelin's English classes
collected food for the local animal shelter. Students
brought in items as an extra credit activity and a
philanthropic endeavor. Junior and senior students
brought in an excess of 1,500 pounds of dog food, cat
food, and cat litter. Hats off to all participating GHS juniors
and seniors!

area in which they excel, or help a teacher they had in the
past. Mentoring can also be done after school. (Read
