Best
selling author comes to GHS via the telephone
New York
Times Bestseller Peter Jenkins regaled Ms. Sira, Ms.
Fries and Mrs. Alam's 11th grade English classes with
stories of his travels on Tuesday, March 7 in the GHS
library. Students and author to shared a 45-minute
question and answer session through a speakerphone,
within Jenkins' voice coming through on a large speaker
allowing the entire roomful of students to hear.
Students asked Jenkins about his travels since his best
selling novel A Walk Across America, and
questioned him about characters both past and present.
Jenkins urged to students to "Explore, travel and be
yourself!"
