STRIVE FOR
25 : Read to Succeed
|
We applaud and support the New York State
Education Department in their recommendations, and encourage all students
to read a minimum of 25 books a year. Not sure what to
read? An excellent site to
browse when searching for award winning and recommended books
is the Cooperative Children's Book Center (CCBC), "Great Middle
School Reads" which provides several outstanding titles in
its Booklists.
Another great
site to check out is the Carnegie Library list of "Books
For Middle School Readers". To use this site, just
