| Welcome . My name is Mr. Richardson and I
will be your child's Life Skills teacher this year at the Middle
School. I am a recent graduate of the College of St. Rose,
Where I studied Elementary and Special Education. This year I
will also have the pleasure in working with Mr.Bojarski, he will be the teacher assistant in the
classroom. We will be collectively working with all of
the students in the classroom to provide a great educational opportunity
for each and every student.

Homework
policy

| The
following homework procedure has been endorsed by the Board of
Education. It is our goal to make every student at
Gloversville Middle School academically successful. Completing
daily homework is a critical component of academic success.
Steps
for completing homework
- Student comes to
class unprepared, student to stay 2:20 to 2:50 p.m. Parent
notified via phone or letter.
- Student comes to
class a second time unprepared: Student stays with teach
2:20 to 2:50 p.m., and parent is notified via phone or
letter.
- Student comes to
class unprepared a third time: Student stays with teacher
2:20 to 2:50 p.m., and parent notified via phone and
letter. Parent-student-teacher conference scheduled.
- Student comes to
class unprepared a fourth time: Student assigned 3:20 p.m.
detention, parent notified.
- Student comes
unprepared a fifth time: Student assigned 4:00 p.m.
detention, parent notified.
- Student comes
unprepared a sixth time: Student assigned a 5:20 p.m.
detention, parent notified.
