DBQ'S
DBQ's are an important part of social studies. Students need to be proficient writers of DBQ's for the 8th grade state test. Each grade will build on the previous grade to develop students' abilities to write DBQ's. In sixth grade, we will write several partial DBQ's and four full DBQ's. Our main goal in sixth grade is to equip students with the ability to have a solid plan of organization for writing a good DBQ essay. This should include detailed answers, a T-chart, good sentences, and well developed paragraphs including an introduction, body, and conclusion.
