This homework page will be used to keep previous weekly assignments.   

 

Any packets, worksheets, readings, etc. that are listed on this page can be viewed and downloaded by going to the "Class Notes and Handouts" page shown on the menu to the left.  PowerPoint programs used for class notes can also be viewed by going to the "Class Notes and Handouts" page.

Monday, 10/30:

          1.  Begin filling in the note taking sheet for the Iroquois project. 

          2.  Study for a quiz on Topic 4 from the notes.

Tuesday, 10/31:

          1.  Complete CRQ 6 on page 11 of the packet.

          2.  Study for a quiz on Topics 5 and 6 from the notes.

Wednesday, 11/1:

          1.  Complete CRQ's 7 and 8 on page 12 of the packet.

Thursday, 11/2:

          1.   Read page 24 in the packet and answer the questions.

Friday, 11/3:

          1.  Study for a quiz on Topic 7 from the notes.

 

Week of October 23-October 27:

Monday, 10/23:

          1.  Read pages 2-4 in the Iroquois Indians packet.

          2.  Read page 19 in the packet and answer the questions.

Tuesday, 10/24:

          1.  Read page 20 in the packet and answer the questions.

          2.  Read page 21 in the packet and answer the questions.

Wednesday, 10/25:

          1.  Read page 22 in the packet and answer the question.

          2.  Study for a quiz on Topics 1 and 3 from the notes.

Thursday, 10/26:

          1.  Study for a quiz on Topic 2 from the notes.

Friday, 10/27:

          1.  Study for a quiz on Topic 4 from the notes.

 

Week of October 16-October 20:

Monday, 10/16:

          1.  Complete the map exercise started in class.

          2.  Finish the 4 CRQ's given as homework on Friday.

Tuesday, 10/17:

          1.  Begin filling in the chart on page 9 of the packet.

          2.  Study for a test on Thursday on the Early American Civilizations. 

Wednesday, 10/18:

          1.  Study for a test on Thursday on the Early American Civilizations. 

          2.  Complete the packet on Early American Civilizations.  Packet is due on Thursday and Friday.

Thursday, 10/19:

          1.  Complete the packet on Early American Civilizations due by Friday at the latest. 

Friday, 10/20:

          1.  No Homework. 

 

Week of October 9-October 13:

Monday, 10/9:

          1.  No School.  Columbus Day.

Tuesday, 10/10:

          1.  Read pages 3-5 the packet on Early American Civilizations.

          2.  Write out the definitions on page 6 of the packet.

Wednesday, 10/11:

          1.  Complete the skill application on page 7 of the packet.

Thursday, 10/12:

          1.  Read the article on page 8 of the packet and answer the questions.  

Friday, 10/13:

          1.  Begin working on the 4 CRQ's on pages 11-12 of the packet.

 

Week of October 2-October 6:

Monday, 10/2:

          1.  Read pages 2-3 in packet on American Geography.

          2.  Write out the definitions.

Tuesday, 10/3:

          1.  Read page 11 in the packet and answer the questions based on the reading.

Wednesday, 10/4:

          1.  Complete the map exercise on pages 7-8 of the packet.

          2.  Study for test on Friday on the American Geography packet.

Thursday, 10/5:

          1.  Study for test on Friday on the American Geography packet. 

Friday, 10/6:

          1.  No Homework.  School closed on Monday. 

 

Week of September 25-September 29:

Monday, 9/18:

          1.  Answer all documents in the First Americans DBQ.

Tuesday, 9/19:

          1.  Fill in the DBQ Answer Box for Task #2 and Task #3.  

Wednesday, 9/20:

          1.  Complete the Answer Box for the DBQ.

          2.  Begin to write a rough draft of the essay. 

Thursday, 9/21:

          1.  Continue working on writing the DBQ essay. 

Friday, 9/22:

          1.  Make sure the DBQ packet is completely filled out.

                    -Answer all documents.  All questions must be in complete sentences.

                    -Completely fill in the Answer Box.

          2.  Write a final draft of the DBQ essay.

          3.  All 3 parts of the DBQ will be collected on Monday-Tuesday. 

                    A.  Questions to the documents.

                    B.  Answer Box.

                    C.  Written essay.

 

Week of September 18-September 22:

Monday, 9/18:

          1.  Read Chapter 1, section 1; pages 3-10.

          2.  Fill in Reading Outline as you read Ch. 1, section 1.

          3.  Study for test on Wednesday on the First Americans.

Tuesday, 9/19:

          1.  Study for test on Wednesday on the First Americans.

          2.  Complete First Americans packet in order to hand in on Wednesday or Thursday.

Wednesday, 9/20:

          1.  Read Ch. 1, section 2; pages 12-16.

          2.  Fill in Reading Outline as you read Ch. 1, section 2.

          3.  Hand in First Americans packet no later than Thursday.

Thursday, 9/21:

          1.  Read through the DBQ handbook passed out in class.

Friday, 9/22:

          1.   Read Chapter 1, section 3; pages 17-19.

          2.  Fill in Reading Outline as you read Ch. 1, section 3.

 

Week of September 11-September 15:

Monday, 9/11:

          1.  Read pages H1-H6 in the textbook.

          2.  Read page 4 in the First Americans Packet and answer questions on page 5.

Tuesday, 9/12:

          1.  Complete the CRQ on page 18 of the packet.

          2.  Read page 22 in the packet and answer the questions.

Wednesday, 9/13:

          1.  Complete pages 19-20 in the packet.

          2.  Read page 23 in the packet and answer the questions.

Thursday, 9/14:

          1.  Finish reading pages 8-17 in the packet and answer the questions in the reading.

          2.  Read page 24 in the packet and answer the questions.

Friday, 9/15:

          1.  No homework. 

 

Week of September 4-September 8:

Monday, 9/4: School Closed

          1.  No School.

Tuesday, 9/5: First Day of School

          1.  No homework.

Wednesday, 9/6:

          1.  No homework.
