Welcome to Mrs.
Armstrong's and Mrs. Anderson's Life-Skills
Class
"We
practice skills that we use all our lives!"

|
| We Are Learning New
Things in All Subject Areas.
Language Arts
1) Students
journal or write in their notebooks on a topic each
day.
2) Students are reading
and answering questions or working on
understanding sounds. They have a
workbook page and home-
work
page each night.
3) Students make a trip
to the library to exchange books every 2
weeks. We are encouraging them
to pick up books they can
read. Mr. Rooney has challenged all students to
read 25
books this year. He plans to reward our students handsomely
come June for their reading time. So encourage your
children
to get on board!
4) Spelling- Students
practice spelling words found in their
reading and often used in their writing.
They either write the
word 5x each every night or do another activity.
