The following homework
procedure has been endorsed by the Board of Education. It is
our goal to make every student at Gloversville Middle School
academically successful. Completing daily homework is a critical
component of academic success.
Steps for
completing homework
- Student comes to class
unprepared, student to stay 2:20 to 2:50 p.m. Parent notified.

Student comes to class a
second time unprepared: Student stays with teacher 2:20 to
2:50 p.m. Parent notified.
- Student comes to class
unprepared a third time: Student stays with teacher 2:20 to
2:50 p.m. Parent notified.
- Student comes to class
unprepared a fourth time: Student stays with teacher 2:20 to
2:50 p.m.
Parent-student-teacher conference scheduled.
- Student comes unprepared
a fifth time: Student assigned 3:20 p.m. detention.
- Student comes unprepared
a sixth time: Student assigned a 3:20 p.m. detention.
- Student comes unprepared
a seventh time: Student assigned a 4:00 p.m. detention.
- Student comes unprepared
a eighth time: Student assigned a 4:00 p.m. detention.
- Student comes unprepared
a ninth time: Student assigned a 5:20 p.m. detention.
- Student comes unprepared
a tenth time: Student assigned a 5:20 p.m. detention.
