online survey

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Gloversville Enlarged School District is committed to providing your children with a high-quality education, embracing changes that meet their diverse academic and social needs, and forging strong relationships with our community. It’s important work, and your involvement is critical.   That’s why I’m asking you to participate in our Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) Survey, which is open November 9th 2020 through November 16th 2020.

Survey questions address systems and organization, school leadership, curriculum, instruction, social-emotional learning, and parent and community engagement.   We see this survey it as an opportunity to have a community-wide conversation about how we can provide your children with the skills and support they need to reach their full potential.   The online survey is compatible with any computer, tablet, or smartphone. The survey link will be posted on the District and school websites, Facebook page, and the GESD APP.

The survey is offered in English and Spanish.   We’re also asking teachers and students in grades 3-12 to take the survey. We will provide time for students to participate at school.   All survey responses are strictly confidential. We’re partnering with independent research and communications firm K12 Insight to administer the survey and compile the results.

No one from the district will know who participates or how they respond, so please be candid.   By partnering with you, I know we can set up every student for success. Thank you for your continued support of the Gloversville Enlarged School District.

 Sincerely,
David Halloran Superintendent
