The Gloversville Dugout Club, along with 13 other schools and groups, raised $13,000 for the Students Care for Kids program, a program that support The Children's Hospital in Albany.

The Club raised $2,800 during the season through Hits 4 Hope, where every "hit" was associated with a dollar amount to be donated. They also sold heart-shaped Students Care for Kids icons and donated Husky Beanie Babies for patients to enjoy.

Students Care for Kids Program Coordinator, Jenny Nagengast, said, "Your participation in fundraising for our program is greatly appreciated. The funds you raise help us save young lives."
