The new school year is just around the corner. Make sure to receive important news from the district by signing up for SNN and becoming a fan of Gloversville’s Facebook page.
Update SNN account
More than 268 people have signed up for School News Notifier, or SNN, an opt-in e-mail and text message alert system where parents and community members can sign up to receive e-mail and/or text message alerts from the district. Users can choose from several alerts and can unsubscribe at any time.
If you'd like to update the SNN alerts you are currently subscribed to, simply sign into your account by visiting https://snn.neric.org/gloversville/. Sign in with your username and password, select which alerts you would like to receive, and then click ‘Update Profile.’ It’s important to make sure your SNN alerts are updated for 2012-13, especially if your child will enter a new school in the fall.
There are alerts for each school building, district news and school closings and delays. You can also enter your cell phone number to receive text messages in time-sensitive situations, such as weather-related school closings.
