GMS 6th Grade Supply List

The following is a basic list of supplies that students will need upon entering the 6th grade. Teams, teachers, and schedules are not complete at this time, so there may be a few more items needed when school actually starts. There are no markers or pens allowed in the 6th grade. Every student should bring in one box of tissues.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS:
1 3-subject spiral notebook
1 pocket folder
Pencils and erasers
Loose-leaf paper

MATH:
2-inch 3-ring binder
Pencils and erasers
Personal pencil sharpener
1 1-subject notebook
Loose-leaf paper

SOCIAL STUDIES:
Pencils and erasers
Loose-leaf paper
1" 3-ring binder (Team 1)
1-pocket folders with two pockets and three holes
Pencil sharpener
Colored pencils
1 3-subject spiral notebook (Team 2)

SCIENCE:
1 pocket folder with prongs
1 1-subject notebook
Loose-leaf paper
Colored pencils
Metric ruler
Pencils

SPECIAL EDUCATION- Self-contained Classroom:
2 pocket folders
5 1-subject spiral notebooks (Mr. Richardson only)
Loose-leaf paper
3 packages of pencils (more will be needed as they are used up)
Important: No trapper keepers, mechanical pencils, or pens are allowed in the self-contained classroom.

7th Grade Supply List

The following is a basic list of supplies that students will need upon entering the 7th grade. Teams, teachers, and schedules are not complete at this time, so there may be a few more items needed when school actually starts.  Every student should bring in one box of tissues for your homeroom.

Pens (blue/black)
Pencils (#2, standard or mechanical)
Loose-leaf paper
Watercolor markers
1 Box of tissues to be given to homeroom teacher)
Colored pencils
Erasers or eraser caps
Glue sticks

1 Texas Instrument Scientific Calculator (TI 30XIIS)

2 2-pocket folders with loose-leaf paper clasps

SCIENCE:
One 1 1/2" binder
1 composition notebook
1 folder w/prongs
Metric ruler

SPECIAL EDUCATION - Self -Contained Classroom:
5 pocket folders (1 each: red, blue, green, yellow, orange)
Eraser tops if your child uses them
3 packages of loose-leaf paper
3 packages of pencils
Crayola colored pencils

8th Grade Supply List

The following is a basic list of supplies that students will need upon entering the 8th grade. Teams, teachers, and schedules are not complete at this time, so there may be a few more items needed when school actually starts. 

These items are needed for all classes:
Lots of loose-leaf paper
Lots of pens and pencils (blue/black) - no neon colors
Colored pencils and a small handheld sharpener
Eraser caps
Book covers- non-adhesive
