The Gloversville Middle School Eagle Awards winners for the first marking period were announced recently. This award is presented to students who demonstrate outstanding effort and achievement, along with leadership.

"These students exemplify both citizenship and scholarship," said Principal Mr. Christopher. "They are operating under our 5 promises: Loyal Cooperation; Courtesy; Higher Ideals; Obeying the Laws; and Serving Our Fellow Citizens."

A breakfast was served for the award winners and their families. Students were presented with a plaque in honor of their award.

They are:

Grade 6: Emily Barker, Jessica Betts, Luis Rivera, Ivy Dutcher, Courtney Quackenbush, and Pryce Bouchard.

 

Grade 7: Nicholas Ferrara, Taylor Wadsworth, Kalle Tabor, and Anthony Ponticello.

 

Grade 8: Cassi Hazzard, Jeannine DeMarco, Kendra Smith, Benjamin Chase, and Gabriel Rosmarino.
