Gloversville High School teachers were surprised with gift cards for $100.00 from Walmart through the Teacher Rewards Program recently.
Walmart Distribution Center's 700 associates nominated the high school to be the recipient of the $1,000 in recognition of the personal financial burdens teachers place on themselves in order to enrich the educational experiences of their students.
"We thank Walmart for their continued support and generosity during these difficult financial times," said Principal Mr. Rich DeMallie.
