The Commander of VFW Post 2077, Mr. Kevin Jones, and President of the Ladies Auxiliary, Laura Lee, presented three GHS students with certificates and monetary awards for their participation in the Voice of Democracy Essay Contest.

The students recognized were: Angelica Ellithorpe, Justin Putnam, and Destiny Armstrong (sitting) along with their English Teachers: Stephanie Schelin, Rebecca Sira, Stephanie Alam, and Principal Rich DeMallie.
