GESD received an Award of Merit from NYSPRA for its district website
The Gloversville Enlarged School District received an Award of Merit in the 32nd annual Communications Contest sponsored by the New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) for the District website.
The NYSPRA awards provide an opportunity to highlight the outstanding work performed by school communications professionals who support student achievement and school improvement initiatives through effective communications.
About one-third of the more than 300 NYSPRA entries
earned awards in 2011 in a closely drawn judging by communications
professionals from around the country. For more on the contest, click

Luncheon on October 28, during the 2011 convention of the New York State
School Boards Association (NYSSBA) in Buffalo.
Elizabeth Phillips, Communications Specialist, and
Bonnie Minick, Capital Region BOCES Graphic Designer, both received the
award on behalf of the Gloversville Enlarged School District.
