Ten Kingsborough Elementary teachers received gift cards for $100.00 from Walmart through their Teacher Rewards Program. "Financially, it couldn't have come at a better time," said Principal Jane Parsons.

Walmart Distribution Center's 700 associates nominated Kingsborough to be the recipient of the $1,000. The teachers names were randomly drawn to receive the gift cards. The money will be used to purchase nutritional snacks or classroom supplies for the students.

"We feel so honored to be selected for this award, we all appreciate Walmart and their generosity to our schools," said Mrs. Parsons.
