Kerri Cantelupe, a freshman at Gloversville High School, represented the district in a Regional Poetry Out Loud competition on Monday, Mar. 1, in Albany. Kerri went as the local level competition winner which was open to the entire GHS student body.

Kerri memorized three poems and was required to recite two of them. The two poems were "Hope is the Thing with Feathers," by Emily Dickinson and "The Road Not Taken," by Robert Frost.
