It
was a time to be recognized during Monday’s Morning
Program at Park Terrace Elementary School. Principal
Steve Pavone handed out numerous certificates to
students congratulating them on the amount of books
they’ve read so far this year. Some students have
already met and exceeded the district’s goal of
having all elementary students read 25 books this
school year. Those who have read 30 or more will be
invited to the Principal’s Reading Club Picnic to be
held in June.
Each month, a name of a parent who helps support the
reading program is drawn. This month’s recipient is
Christina Pagen who received a check for $10.00 from
the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce in
appreciation for her support of the reading program
at Park Terrace.
Also recognized during the program were November’s
Students of the Month and students receiving
Character Awards.
