District office staff
donates food to needy families
The
GESD administration and district office staff have
delivered turkeys and other food staples to three needy
families just in time for Thanksgiving, thanks to their
fundraising efforts. More than $150 was collected, along
with staff donations of non-perishable food items.
Deliveries were made to the families on Tuesday morning.
Superintendent Rob DeLilli said the successful program
enabled them to provide enough food for more than just
one meal to each family.
