Our
school libraries are a vital learning center for
students of all ages. Each one is staffed by a
full-time library media specialist who provides guidance
and assistance for both students and faculty. Our book
collections are evaluated and updated annually to
support the curriculum and meet student needs.
Our libraries
offer Internet access and computer labs are available
for technology instruction and computer-skills
education.
Our elementary
library media specialists promote the accelerated
reader program and also provide lists of suggested
books, to help all students achieve the goal of
reading 25 books a year.
The middle and
high school libraries use an automated system that
allows students to search for books through the
on-lie Public Access Catalog. On-line databases are
also available for student research projects.
Middle School
Library Club meets twice monthly to plan contests,
events and community service projects.
