The Assistant Superintendent/Parent Forum held its
monthly meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 20
Assistant Superintendent Frank
Pickus met with parent representatives from each school
for its monthly meeting. Discussions were
held and the representatives will be sharing the
information with their buildings on the following
topics:

Teal Carpenter, food service
director, spoke and answered questions regarding the
home-prepared food issue and the district's
cafeteria service policy

Aimee Fedullo and Monica
Poitras, both associate directors of the Mohawk
Valley Regional PTA, shared ideas for increasing
participation and involvement at parent/school
functions

Parent representatives shared
feedback from their buildings about the recent
changes to the website - all comments were positive
-
There was a discussion about
the utility and format of a potential parent survey
- this discussion will be continued.
The next meeting date is set for
March 3. |
